Phone Problems!

coolerthanthouThe nice man at the Nokia care shop told me what to do when I approached him on Sunday, regarding my phone not being able to receive some messages (sorry Bestfriend, and Leeann!) and everything.
He told me that the problem lies with the version of the software of my phone. My version is outdated. Like 5.50 and I have updated it to a 7.0 version.
He walked me through whatever I had and can do at home; back up> update> restore.
I did as told, but I can't seem to do the last part: Restore.
I seriously don't know why the program states that my phone is not connected when it already is!
Very. frustrating.
If you all have texted me, from now on, and you realized that I did not reply you back (unless I don't like you lah! ha!), Please please please please call me/tell me online or whatever ways to reach me.
I'll get down to the Nokia care shop, like again, to ask that nice guy again.
This is basically just an entry to tell you that there still might be smth wrong with my phone.
And, have already gotten on my nerves and got some help/remedy/cure for it.
Hopefully all is well.
