PART ONE! (image-heavy)
Jun. 12th, 2008 04:23 pmI'M BAAACK!!!
from the M'sia trip that i'm totally not interested in. hmph!
A short trip to M'sia, my mama's hometown, Endau (yeah, some ulu place which I've been to, for more than 10 times (?)).
HATE HATE HATE, the travelling parts (as usual), and the part where my relatives see me and starts throwing questions at me. The most common questions/line being said to me are:
"WHY ARE YOU SO SKINNY?!"
"come, come. Eat more. You're tooo skinny."
"You don't look like your mama leh, but you take after her figure!"
"Wah, so big already, how old already ah?"
"Secondary what already ah? Now school holidays right?!"
...
Aaand, to my mama;
"Wah, your daughter ah? so big already ah! So pretty."
"Wah, your daughter's so pretty and she's taller than you already!"
(Insert all the "your daughter is so pretty lines here)
And everytime I hear all this, I'ld just have to smile at them, and look away instantly. Can't face them for long, I got that nauseous feeling inside me, whenever I hear all this, just cus I'm not pretty.
hahahah! Whatever ah, Cheryl.
okayokay, this is PART ONE!
All the uploading and editing of pictures are driving me crazy.
Tillagain for PART TWO!~

Anyway, on a happier note: There's a new member in the family!

She's Celine, age a year and a half, and look at her shoes! I was told that it was mine!
If you're wondering how their market would be like...

^ the veggie and fruits side.

^ the fish + seafood side.

^ Chickens, live. And if you noticed the malay boy and this man behind, they're killing the chickens. Uhm, yeah.

^ and I really wonder if people do buy meat this way, in Singapore.
As M'sia is a really huge place, as compared to Singapore, and when people have ships out to the sea to collect fish (to earn money, and to stay alive), they throw their old and run down ships anyway, and everywhere, really.

People there, don't really care about bird flu, as their chickens are free to roaaaam.

They do have pretty houses (where we cannot find in Singapore anymore), and back alleys.

As oil prices are rising, and rising, we should learn from the people living there, in M'sia cus they buy their own oil, and keep it at home.

Diesel, anyone? This things are sooo much taller than me! Not to mention that there's 3 of them!!!

^ They will grow and become huge rice padis.

^ Pink pingu and Pocky are the best travelling partners! hahahah!

^The seahorse is with its' baby!!!

The seahorses are my relatives' neighbours'. They're going to sell it and earn big bucks!!!

^ The road outside my relatives' place in the morning.

^ This little stall that sells beancurds, soyamilk, and chinchows (that I have for my breakfast every morning when I'm there) have been selling for near 30 years! Kudos man! But seriously, his homemade soyamilk and beancurds are the best, I'm telling you. All damn smooooth and nice. (:
