111112 + the things they say.
Nov. 11th, 2012 11:10 pmConversations as I remember them.
Having food service management lab 1 where introductions and project guide were gone briefed through and doubts were being clarified.
Chef: Then there's the theme part when the group does the service part for the other group who are in charge of the preparation and cooking. For example, if the theme is Hawaiian, you guys can do anything relating to the Hawaiian theme that you all can think of. Like maybe, Hawaiian shirts, flowers in the girl's hair, whatever. You all go and think about it.
PY: WEAR BIKINI!!
Chef: Ah, no, cannot wear bikini.
Chef: But can wear coconut shells.
During Nutrition tutorial where we are going through the case-study.
Teacher: So what kind of therapy or follow-up are you going to give this patient?
Random murmurings all over the class.
PY (to me): Eh, what's that animal called ah?
Me: What animal?
PY: There.. the one that sounds like therapy. Therapy.. Therapy something or something like that.
Me: Huh? Got ah?
Me: (and after a few moments) TERRAPIN AH?!
PY: AH YA YA YA!!
Over at Malaysia, where my family went over to visit our relatives. Walking out of the housing area to see what we can get from the shop houses just outside the housing area. One of the largest shop houses, which takes up the bent of the road where we walked out is an auto motor shop where there's a really impressive lineup of bikes and whatnots.
Me (to my father): Have money not?
Father: Yeh, how much you want?
Me: I want to buy a motorcycle.
Father: (looks over) mmmhm. The red one nice ah. You take RM5 and see whether got change or not. Go.
Me: I think need RM10 ah. The red one like a bit too nice to be RM5 only.
Father: Ah true ah. Okay. I give you RM10. Later when we going back you go buy.
Apparently it runs in the blood, huh?! (__ __)
And, who can ever forget
butter_lies 's confidence in the pronunciation of table d'hote menu?
I'm so proud of you and don't you ever forget that, my dear. (runs away laughing)
One more thing especially for today.
Happy Birthday Dina and Happy Pocky/Peppero Day everyone!! (:
