Familiarity. Not in the good way.

coolerthanthouIt's Friday (still true to time of type) today.
And I've kind of grown more and more sensitive about Friday as compared to how I was, in say, <secondary school days and also in Year One. Friday used to be a day where I can let everything down and relax myself before another hectic week starts again.
Not that I cannot do that now when it's still physically possible but almost impossible mentally when all I think about is how to manage my time over the weekends to complete what needs to be completed for the week to come. Tutorials, assignments and projects. They never left me alone even on the weekends even though that sounds completely romantic and whatnot, but no thanks. =.=
Like how I was thinking about what day it was again when I was in the bus, heading to get some food into my system for the first time for the day after the lectures and all I can ever conjure with an empty stomach was how it would return to how it used to be, before the break where everything from Hell will come back to haunt us, throttling at our necks and forcing us to breathe at the same time when next week kicks in.
And that, was when I have no choice but to overhear people's frustrations on project group mates, annoyance about school work and also how it's like the anchor which brings all of us down at sea.
It's back. It's back with us for another two more months.
Two more months sounds short, but it is super uncomfortably long out there.
But I guess, Chinese New Year is something to look towards within this two months, huh. (:
Here's to two more months of Semester 2.2, to the upcoming holidays and even though super unwilling to start another academic year but wanting to end this three years in Hell as quickly as possible (if that made sense to anyone), to Year three with Internship to kick-start it off.
