Day 6: Shibuya
Thinking back on the day spent in Shibuya only got me concluding that I probably need like a week in Shibuya alone (I would also say the same for Harajuku, honestly speaking.). Not only for 109 (which it didn't occur to us to go to 109 MENS that day), but also for the other malls and streets there. Everything was doused in pretty neon lights - trust me. It's gorgeous everywhere when the all of the lights are up at night and people pouring in everywhere even though I don't even like people (I only like the people I choose to surround myself with), what more crowds. HAHA!!

Obviously had to do the super famous Shibuya crossing shot - which you guys really have to try it yourself to know how it feels to take that shot because words cannot do those waiting and multiple short trips back and forth what seems to be the "perfect" distance for an OOTD shot and having random Japanese strangers coming into your shot any justice because that crossing is just.. that crazy.
But even so, no ragrets there. ^ ^

To be really honest, I have expected 109 to be bigger but definitely.. comforting (??) to see those familiar names in the Japanese fashion scene that I know. But being a true blue Singaporean, there's nothing to complain when there is free Wifi!!
AND THE BASEMENT FILLED WITH ESPERANZA AND SHOE STORES. LAGRACEMART ON THE 7TH/TOP FLOOR!!!
I was trying my best to not hyperventilate can. HEHEH!!

Yoshinoya will never be the same again. Not until Singapore's Yoshinoya stores bring in the Nabe I had there.
Nope.

Bought Pablo cheese tart back to share.
Too good, guys.

Day 7: Met up with Rika in Ginza > Shibuya (again)
I have always thought that Ginza would be stationed along Yamanote line, but I guess it's such an "up-there" place that it even has it's own line that you have to change into. Talk about being in another class altogether, huh?!

I GET TO MEET UP AND HOLD UP MY PROMISE TO MEET RIKA IN JAPAN WHEN I GOT OVER!!! YAS!!! 100 POINTS TO CHERYL!!! #toohappy

I actually promised Rika that one day, in the near future, that I would meet her up in Japan. Kinda like killing two birds in one stone because 1, I get to meet my friend, and 2, I AM IN JAPAN!!!
Oh, I made that promise with her when she came over during our CNY period last year. Nyeheheh!! #Ikeepmypromises

Had lunch and ended up at some seriously posh restaurant for sashimi in one of them tall towers in Ginza (omg guize. Tall towers are in abundance along the streets and I haven't got the slightest clue how to keep up with them and their names. Zz) and Rika refusing to let me (us, for this matter) pay for the meal.

Dover Street Market for CDG for PohYing and THE Uniqlo tower was just next to us!! HAHA!!
We were then being introduced to the new and old parts of Ginza, and baumkuchen buying cus there's this really old store there that sells the most authentic baumkuchen cakes around. (:

High tea (finally, I get to treat Rika..) in another tower that we initially went into to look for Head Porter (to be told that we have to go back to Harajuku for it cus there's only one store in Japan..) with really good french toast overseeing the Ginza street. Sigh. #thegoodlife HAHA!! ;P

Ginza is really decorated with nothing but blings (AKA lightings) and everything pretty. Architecture are so unique and different, the stores along the street almost all belong to the higher end of life..
I can only happy sigh when I type all these out. (:

We headed back to Shibuya after getting some good dorayaki where Rika have to go get something and meet her friends.
More shopping ensues. Did I mentioned that the center-gai is really all bustling and filled with stores that you just wanna go into each and everyone of them just for the heck of it? There.

Day 8: Anpanman Museum + Cosmo Clock 21
Headed back to Yokohama again, and with a few transfers of trains and even when you just tapped out, the station is already filled with Anpanman. I'm not saying that the museum did those marcoms but you see families and kids endorsing the merchs that you can get at the museum and you cannot imagine how exciting that is for me.

Especially when you see Anpanman already even before you leave the station to walk towards it!!

Yokohama to me is perpetually cold, whether rain or shine. Maybe it's just me. IDK.
Walking to the museum is pretty straightforward, but not that easy at the same time if you know what I mean.

The museum costs 1500 yen and is super worth it, if I say so myself.
I get it that it's a children's museum so it's expected that you have lots of little humans loitering below your knee level but when you see Anpanman himself attending to the crowd.. WA!!
The entire musuem showcase the main characters of the show (but let's be real with a animation series who holds the Guiness World Record of having the most characters throughout the entire series, the lineup is pretty unreal in there already. NO COMPLAINTS Y'ALL!!), the drawings and MERCH.

OH MY GOD THE MERCH. I WANT TO BRING BACK THOSE STORES. SIGH.

We then went off to the Cosmo Clock 21, brave almost all the rides in the outdoor theme park - which is something that you have no reason not to do it because it looks super cray and it's really cheap. 500-600 Yen for one ride? YOU WOULD TAKE IT.
The rides were pretty crazy, crazier than DisneySea and cold. Like really cold. (Insert The Weeknds - Can't feel my face because that's what it literally is.)

Queued the longest for the clock with lots of couples, which isn't surprising since the Yokohama bay is so pretty and well, I can say romantic at night with all that rainbow lightings. AND when we are in the gondola, Shana spotted the couple behind us making out inside their gondola!! FREE SHOW coupled into our ride!! #cheapthrills

Day 9: Harajuku (again)
BECAUSE WE HAD TO. BECAUSE WHY THE HELL NOT?
Because we needed to hunt Head Porter down. #truth

Slept in that day and went hunting for Head Porter with a slight drizzle. Long story short, we got trolled super badly by Google Maps. So bad that we WALKED to Shibuya and back to only realize that we knew where it was all along. Zz. We even went to the artelier, thinking that it was the store, and to find out that they were closed even before the time their website said that they are to close. -.-
Stupid Google Maps.

Got to Head Porter just right before their closing timing and I can only say that their staffs are all well-trained to be super judgemental? Never had such a treatment before the entire time in Japan (the other staffs that I've experienced anywhere else that in Head Porter are all extremely welcoming and warm!!) until the staff that attended to me realized that I am going to purchase something from them. #WUT #RUSRS

Made another trip to Kiddyland and FINALLY. I found my brother's requests!!
Lugged back a huge bag and felt a teensy bit bad because I was taking up leg space in the train and also eavesdropping and trying to make sense of other people's conversations in nihongo. I mean, why not? HAHAHA!!
Oh, there were these 2 creepy dudes, too. HURHUR.

Dinner was from 7-11 as usual, and we even made a special ice-cream trip which was carefully documented in our snapchats, which is hilarious I dare say. WE DA BEST WHEN IT COMES TO TRAVELING OUT IN THE COLD. HAHAHA!!
And we found out that our AirBnb host actually did provide us with icepops in the fridge already. Oops.

Packing is hard no matter traveling to or traveling back from Japan.
Or anywhere. Sigh.

Day 10: Traveling back
TO HELL WITH THE FOOD FROM 7-11 LAST NIGHT.

I woke up at around 3plus in the morning to throw up my dinner last night. The retchings were one of a kind man. My entire body felt so weak with each retch and I could barely get myself back to bed after that. Food poisoning it is.

7-11 food has been good to us all along this trip that we had but the last night we had it really took it on us when I later on found out that I wasn't the only one. ):
The only worry I had in mind was the ride back home, fearing that they wouldn't let me up the plane with my (then) current state, but thank God that there wasn't a fever nor sneezes kicking in throughout.
And thank God for Shana and PohYing. The luggage wasn't all that easy to lug around up and down, in and out of the stations and NEX. ): Love you both deep deepz.

Seats were separated from each other and we were called via the intercomm to get on the plane cus we were erm, still shopping, that a staff have to come down to get us. HAHAHA!! :P

I am really very amazed with myself (allow me to self-praise here, please) that I made it through the flight almost all alone.
Thankfully there wasn't someone else next to me that I could really lie down when the stomach wasn't cooperating with me (but still eventually made use of the barf bag provided, and to disturb a stewardess during her rest and getting a very concerned question back from her. Ah humanity.). As much as I have expressed my love for the food on board in my previous entry for my trip, I could barely touch my dinner what more the ice cream they provide later on. ):

And the old man sitting behind me kept kicking my seat throughout!!! URGH.

Duty-free shopping with my body all drained calls for nothing but choya for the mother at around midnight. Gah.
Picked up my luggage after a while (It never seem to come back to me. My heart..) and I can't see the boyfriend whereas my friends were like "THERE!! YOUR BOYFRIEND!!"

"WHERE?"

That feeling there and then.

Thank you Love. I know you're reading this.
And 小白 too. (:

I know this entry took me too long (hello Proscratination!!) but here we have it!!! *throws imaginery confetti*
It really makes me miss Japan - the weather, the people, Disney magic, everything. Sigh.

I'll be back, Japan!!
And knowing that I'll be stepping in Narita for a little while in my upcoming (still not exactly very confirmed though) trip makes me happy even though I won't get to step out of Narita.

Time to get some food and sit myself through at least one ep of From Five to Nine.
Hehehe!!

Tillagain.
