I felt that I needed to get this entry out of its way before tracking down episode 3 of Hanzawa Naoki to watch since I missed it on TV cus work ends at 10PM. /:
Finally the local TV is airing something that's of substance, though they still fail horribly in the department of dubbing, but I digressed.
Back to where I was about to go on about, I went back to work despite the change of workplace. Panic occurs when I opened my eyes just one hour before the time I was supposed to report, but that isn't something that's novel, or rather, you can actually categorise and file it under the label of "Expected from Cheryl".
Not that I am proud of it..
But yeah.
New environment, new things to digest (well, figuratively, if you insist), new faces to work with (I'm lucky that there's only one today. The other MIA-ed.), and the list pretty much is the same as the one that you might get if you google it.
YET
Same shit, only different materials to work with.
I wasn't all riled up that I have to deal with the same routine all over again, considering that I raise my own hand to land myself in that workplace. I was getting more and more frustrated the more I think about the responsibilities that I was expected to do since I made a switch.
Let's just put it this way.
Action A, in my previous workplace, is something that only a Full-time staff is allowed to carried out (not something that a Part-timer can do even if they were to know to carry it out impeccably). And so are the actions along the same genre, and we shall just name them Action A's friends.
However, things are quite different now in this new workplace of mine (same parent company/management, btw.). I was expected to carry out Action A, and Action A's friends. It's not that I mind doing them (I really don't!!) since I was taught and (sort-of) spartan-trained to do it the last time when I was a Full-time staff over at the previous workplace.
The problem now is that, I'm no longer a Full-time staff!!
& To put it more bluntly, I am receiving a Part-time staff's pay but carrying out tasks of a Full-time staff!!!
To make the fire burn even higher, even brighter, I have to bring home a set of keys since I have two morning shifts coming up = I have to do opening of a store alone, TWICE.
"Aiya, they say you can one lah."
"They said that you knew how to do it."
"You did it before right?"
DOESN'T MEAN THAT I AM OBLIGED TO DO IT!!!
I know that it may seem ridiculous that I am actually so frustrated about this especially when if you (or I) were to look at this in a different light, it may actually spells something that's really nice that goes along the lines of them actually thinking very highly of me to throw all that responsibilities at me and all that.
That is honestly what I don't want from them. I wanted to start from zero in a new workplace (even if that sounds extremely dumb or what.) and they are not allowing me to do so. I mean, what would the staffs there think of me? That I pulled strings? That I am someone that they should be feared even before I get to work with them?
I don't even know if the other Part-time staffs are allowed to carry out Action A and her friends in my new workplace.
That thought is not settling down within and is still disturbing me. Ugh.
With a huge shove of all these frustrations to the side, I'm glad that I could score this opportunity since I'm such a lazy ass where I want money and minimal workload at the same time. BAHAHA!! > <"
The most ironic part? I would really still choose the current one over the previous workplace.
But would definitely shy away from doing Action A and the friends of A. HAHA!!
OH. AND PLAY ARASHI SONGS ALL THE TIME DURING MY SHIFT!! YAY ME!!
I hope my mindless ramblings didn't make you feel like you've had your time wasted.
Off to find some food and catch up one Hanzawa!!
Tillagain.
