Happy Lunar New Chicken Year!!
Jan. 30th, 2017 05:07 pmI hope everyone is enjoying the Lunar New Year break with all that good food, festive cheers and red packets.
It's the 3rd day into the new (chicken) year and I am finally feeling better since the eve of Lunar New Year as I was totally dragged down with a viral flu that's going around within the family. And it being the festive period, there's no GP that's available for any one of us to get some medicine and we all have to just rely on Panadols. GAH.
It's definitely not fun to go around visiting while burning up, dizzy and not being able to eat all that CNY goodies in front of you just because you will just die even more on the inside if you just ingest say, one tiny piece of tart or bakkwa. *crais*
Though it's always good with the angbao portion of CNY la. HEHE!!
Haven't got a lot of houses to visit (all along..) during CNY but it's 'interesting' that whenever I get asked is the same one over the different houses that I've been to: When are you settling down/inviting me to your wedding ah?
It was just over a year ago where people were still asking about work and school..
Not that it bothered me that much since I ended up answering the same answer to anyone who asks me this, and also the fact that someone is not back yet mah!! HA HA HA.
SO, here's the PSA that I have to put out (because I know you will be reading this):
There.
Off to 'help' with getting dinner out and FINALLY HAVING THE CNY STEAMBOAT cus I haven't had one during this festive season cus of the stupid viral infection until now. YAAAASSS!!
Hope all is well with everyone, please stay safe and warm especially under this weather (velly good for staying at home though.. hehe!!) and HAVE A PROSPEROUS CHICKEN YEAR OKAY GUIZE!!!
Tillagain.
