The Practice Room.
Nov. 20th, 2007 03:31 pmMy Hiatus only lasted for like, 4 days?!
Heh, I got half of my blogging cells back, yesterday. (:
19thNovember2007: The Practice Room
Was the concert that i felt, i did the least preparations for it. Maybe because of the number of pieces played that night, like i played only 4 pieces?! Haha.
I think i screwed up much of my high notes that night. I'm totally clueless on how and why it happened on the actual show!
I could do those high notes during rehearsals, practices and anytime except the real show. And, it's like really frustrating luh.
My correct pitchings only came back during Omisoka, like the last piece of the night! Like "whaaaaaaatttt?!"
Urghh.
Russell, your solo was great. I didn't know there were mistakes until you told me, kay?!
Stop reproaching yourself lah, it's over!
Nikki and Sandra's solo was like awesome. I couldn't really hear clearly since, i'm outside the hall, and everyone out there was like blowing air into instruments, since the hall's waaay toooooo cold.

And, i think, that the worst has happened on Xinrui, who was suffering from a bad stomach flu, for the whole day. We wanted her to go home and rest, but she insisted on staying and performing for the concert. She's like so pale, and she didn't eat lunch, not even the snacks that someone bought.
So, Xinrui darling, GET WELL SOOOOON!
The seniors, ALL, came back!

(okay, ignore me. The whole cornet section, minus yanru. oh, i have no idea why, this picture is blurred.)
The only section photo i have in my camera.
Like after sooo long, my section's like finally so big and fun again.
Even if it's just for one night, i'm supeeerrr contented already! :D
I really missed the times, when we had concerts and performances with the 05/06 batch. It was like super fun and all.

Kay, the rest of the photos are either, tooo blurred, or, i'm too unglam. HAHA!
But everything that happened that night, was awesome.
Later that night:
Was dinner at Macs;
(i really forgot what was inside, so yeah, don't ask.)
(go read the fries!)
Then, it was the shades thing;
(Jiaxin's red one is hot, while Tristan's made him look as if he's blind. ha!)
(HAHA!)
That pretty sums up my night ah.
