Hello there.

Before anyone starts lashing out at me as to the lack of updates over here at faithwingz@livejournal, I am here, sitting in the office, with my breakfast sitting nicely inside me not too long ago (think evil people pushing admin work onto me, interrupting my breakfast. Sigh.), typing this out on a word document with a very high alert (for just in case moments).

(Ooh, good. My supervisor just left the office!! *does a yattaman hand sign in the head*)

I have actually discovered a way to categorize the people (I know we are only 14 strong..) in the company via the drinks that we consume. Sounds odd, but it’s really true. If I were say so myself, that is. (:

We have people here who drink tea. The tea-people (whom I would affectionately call them here) are one of the nicest people here. They don’t check on what you do, they approach you nicely and asks if you are busy at the moment before throwing their requests at you (which they need not to when it comes to me since I’m just a student intern here.  #woesofastudentintern ). They smile at you when you’ve helped them out and thanked you so profusely that makes you think that you’ve helped them out a billion times. They also are the ones who don’t care about their positions when they talk to you, nor do they care about how much power they can exert to make you help them out since they don’t use them powers anyway.

Generally I’d say the best people you can have around in such a small yet ever busy company. (‘:

Then we have the people who drinks coffee (Let me just say that I have nothing against coffee but I don’t drink them just because I don’t like the after taste they leave in my mouth). Sure, given that they are of a higher positioning in this company, but to be really honest, they are also the people that no one really likes them. People around just take their orders and continue with work without really caring about their feelings because let’s be honest here. They don’t even care about your feelings when they tell you about the work that is to be done, they are not sensitive to your wellbeing at the moment, and they don’t give you the basic courtesy when it comes to distribution of work.  It’s for sure that people like this are needed to keep things moving, but hey, that doesn’t give them any excuses or reasons (if this would put things in a better light) to strip away the basic courtesy of saying the magic words when you need help from others (not just the student intern..) and when they have completed things on your behalf.

Oh, not forgetting those who fall in the category of Others. They basically have a varied selection of drinks – From plain water to cereal mixes, to black sesame paste (um yeah.). They are the people whom I’d like to put them next and very close to the tea-people we have here. They are the ones who are generally very soft-spoken – and I mean, they are so soft-spoken that there are times that I don’t even feel their presence and I’m honestly not being mean here. But, they are also the ones who does the most work around because of their positions in the office and also the jobs that they have picked up (our company picks up jobs almost everywhere and anytime of the month, strangely).

Good Morning everybody. This is Cheryl, reporting from the office, again. This can be considered as one of my busiest Monday mornings from the start of internship till date. The lack of updates is deeply regretted as I haven’t been collating thoughts in my mind well enough to churn out a decent entry (I have my own set of standards and rules to abide to when it comes to posting anything here ever since I’ve gotten myself back into writing and everything else related along that line) not to even talk about multiple entries to keep this space alive and kicking everyone every now and then.

I have to go and continue with my mindless work of data-entry. Please converse with me during work time through gmail chat (if you know what that is) or through emails (highly recommended. HAHAHA!!) for my work is as dry as your history lessons with the most boring teacher you would ever have.

Have a good week ahead. Here’s for the kids who are out interning and trying their best to survive Monday.
You guize are definitely not alone. (:

Tillagain.
